The power of local flavors reigns supreme once again. This is a favorite dining spot among Chuncheon locals in Gangwon Province. So well-known among the locals that anyone unfamiliar might be considered a spy. The building itself is old, exuding a vintage atmosphere that resonates with the locals’ sentiments.

The kimchi here boasts a crisp, tangy flavor that harmonizes perfectly with the thick cuts of pork. It’s a symphony of flavors in every bite. The rice is served in generous portions, almost equivalent to 1.5 servings per bowl. Mix it thoroughly with the kimchi stew until it’s well blended, almost resembling bibimbap, then dig in. Ah, this is the taste of Korea.

Their kimchi stew features tangy aged kimchi and tender pork, simmered to perfection. The longer it cooks, the deeper and richer the flavor becomes. To enjoy it to the fullest, I intentionally let it simmer for a while. Adding ramen noodles and waiting until they’re perfectly cooked adds another layer of texture. Start with the ramen noodles first, soaking up the flavorful broth, and you’ll experience a magical taste sensation.
