I shouted “It’s delicious!” in my mind ten times when I finished the last piece of meat. They use Korean pork belly here, and the meat is grilled on a hot charcoal fire. You can experience the smoky flavor, just like when you eat during camping. This place in Yangjae-dong is like a hidden gem. The meat is really thick. When you take a bite of the grilled meat, you’ll go, “Wow!” The juicy flavor and the smoky aroma come through perfectly. The meat is as tender as pork jowl, and there’s not a tough piece in sight. Even the chewy back fat is delightful, like eating crispy pork skin. The more you chew, the more savory it becomes.

It’s a magical taste that even meat lovers become regulars for. It’s close to Yangjae Citizen’s Forest Station, exit 3. You can enjoy a stroll along Yangjaecheon and explore the cafe street. Yangjaecheon is less crowded, so it’s a nice place to relax quietly. Remember that they are closed on Sundays, so avoid going then. I’m already planning my next visit.
