It was a bone-chilling -14 degrees outside, but nothing could stop me from indulging in some piping hot ramen. There’s just something about ramen that warms you up from the inside out on a cold day. Stepping into that cozy ramen joint, I was relieved to snag the last available seatโ€”they keep it simple with just two menu options, focusing on mastering the basics.

The Shio Ramen boasts a broth that’s just the right balance of saltiness, especially when paired with that perfectly soft-boiled egg. The flavor is spot-onโ€”not too salty, not too blandโ€”leaving a lasting impression that lingers for days. And those noodles? Absolute perfectionโ€”chewy and satisfying, just like slurping up spaghetti noodles coated in tomato sauce. Made with a chicken broth base, the soup is incredibly refreshing.

Now, onto the Shoyu Ramenโ€”it’s like a blast from the past with its rich chicken broth seasoned with soy sauce. Each spoonful is bursting with flavor, reminiscent of a bowl of white rice drizzled with soy sauce. And if you’re still hungry, you can always add extra noodles for just 1,500 won.
