I was blown away by the meat scene in Ulsan. It’s a rare find in Seoul. The whole setup is spotless. Every piece of cutlery is individually wrapped in sanitary paper, and they even have a designated stand for them. Talk about upping the hygiene game. There were two people ahead of me and at least eight behind me, a testament to its popularity. It’s conveniently close to Lotte Hotel Ulsan.

Their meat is aged underwater for 336 hours and pre-grilled at 700 degrees, ensuring quick cooking on the grill. The staff handles the grilling, and each side dish is thoughtfully crafted to complement the meat. Their sauce selection is extensive, but the mushroom sauce is a must-try. The mushrooms are grilled to golden perfection, releasing bursts of flavor with every bite, reminiscent of sipping on mushroom-infused water.

Start by sprinkling some salt on it, and you’ll be greeted with juicy, perfectly seasoned meat from the get-go. Each bite feels like a flavor explosion, akin to an active volcano erupting with savory goodness. Even the pork shoulder practically melts in your mouth. Don’t hesitate to ask the friendly staff for their recommendationsโ€”they’ll gladly share their insights in the warm Ulsan dialect. This place is so fantastic that if they ever opened a branch in Seoul, I’d make it a family tradition to dine there daily
