Today, I ordered a steaming hot Americano to warm up a chilly day. This place has recently undergone renovations and now offers two signature house blends. The first is the Single Blend, boasting a rich, chocolatey flavor with a subtle aroma. The second, known as the Two Blend, delivers a bold, wine-like taste with bursts of colorful dried fruit flavors. It strikes a perfect balance between sweetness, tartness, and bitterness. The flavors are remarkably vivid, almost like experiencing them in 3D. You have the freedom to choose according to your own taste.

Among the myriad cafes in Garosu-gil, Icovox Coffee holds a special place in my heart. I’ve quietly been a regular here for nine years, but that’s my little secret. Established in 2010, Icovox Coffee is nestled just one block away from the bustling main street of Garosugil. This is where you’ll discover freshly roasted beans that have become their trademark. While it recently received a refreshing facelift through a brief renovation, it has retained its signature ambiance. Upon descending the stairs to the half-floor and stepping inside, you’re enveloped in a natural and laid-back atmosphere. The café is situated in a semi-detached building, offering an inviting and cozy vibe. It’s one of the reasons I’m drawn to Icovox Coffee—the ambiance here is truly distinctive. It exudes the charm of a vintage café hidden away in a Berlin alley. In the winter, you’ll fully appreciate the rustic and natural atmosphere, while in the summer, you can bask in the sun on their terrace. The interior exudes classic elegance, and I never grow tired of it.
