Happiness is close by. It’s a little happiness I discovered near Sinnonhyeon Station. It’s worth the wait since I’ve been looking forward to it since the morning. I ordered the spicy Donkotsu ramen because I was in the mood for something spicy. I added an egg, green onions, seaweed, and menma. When you add these toppings, it looks like the first picture. If you prefer it even spicier, you can add more heat. The broth is really rich and flavorful. Despite being Donkotsu ramen, it has a lightness to it. For some, it might be slightly salty and savory. You can request a less salty version if you prefer. It’s packed with umami flavor. Don’t forget to mix the rice in at the end. If you go during weekdays’ lunchtime, you get free refills of rice.

They open at 11:30 AM, and within 5 minutes, it was already full. I was the first in line. Just a heads up, since the shop is located in a busy area with many offices, it’s better to come early to avoid waiting during lunchtime on weekdays. From Sinnonhyeon Station Exit 1, it’s just a 5-minute walk. It’s right in the lively Gangnam area, where you won’t feel bored even watching people pass by. The transportation is convenient too. If you’re visiting Gangnam, make sure to try it here.
