This is my go-to restaurant, where I always leave feeling satisfied. Tucked away in a housing complex behind Jungja Station, it’s a spot where the line starts forming even before 5 p.m., adding to the anticipation of getting seated. What sets this place apart is its premium meat selection, sourced exclusively from Jeju Island, including the succulent pork neck and belly.

The pork belly boasts a robust layer of fat, akin to wearing a suit of armor. As two thick slices sizzle on the grill, the attentive waiter carefully arranges them on the plate. I waste no time in sprinkling salt over the first piece, diving right in. The meat is tender, practically melting in the mouth, releasing a burst of juices with each bite.

Grilled over an open flame, fueled by ample charcoal at high heat, the meat achieves a perfect char. The butter-infused mushrooms complement the meat beautifully, while the salted cutlassfish sauce provides just the right amount of savory depth for dipping. Personally, I find the combination of wasabi and wild leek to be the ultimate flavor enhancer. Despite the wait, I’ll gladly return for this exquisite dining experience.
